Upon arrival, the room was not ready and had not been cleaned. There were used shampoo and body wash bottles left in the bathroom, which was quite off-putting. The bed linen was worn out, and the mattress felt old and uncomfortable, making it very hard to sleep. the bedside lights were malfunctioning, adding to the frustration of our stay.

I loved how the hotel was only a short 1 km stroll to beautiful Redlees Urban Park, providing a perfect spot for walking and relaxing, and I was thrilled to discover that Bothwell Castle was just a little over 2 km away, making it easy to explore such fascinating history during my stay. I really appreciated the friendly service and delicious meals at the restaurant, which added to my enjoyable experience as a solo traveler. but I did notice some areas in my room could use updates, such as the damaged door and loose tiles in the bathroom.

Enjoyed my stay with a cozy standard double room and a delightful dinner at the restaurant. The outdoor seating area and the bar were perfect for unwinding. The kettle in the room didn't seem to switch off automatically, but overall it was a lovely experience. 😊

The salads at the restaurant were pure magic, fresh and tasty! The staff were absolute gems, super friendly and always on the ball. Plus, the bar and restaurant vibe was cozy and inviting, making it a delightful spot to unwind.

Now, on the flip side, we hit a snag when we got to our room—it wasn't made up! Even after the swap, the used toiletries were a bit of a letdown, and some of the room's basics are screaming for a refresh.
